Great Grand Master Kellen Chia has been teaching Tai Chi and Qigong/Chi Kung in Australia for over 30 years to beginners, advanced students and Tai Chi masters and teachers. He achieved the highest level of skill and knowledge in Tai Chi and Qigong as a result of decades of dedicated practice, as well as from the wisdom of two hundred years of family Tai Chi lineage extending back six generations. His ancestors were Tai Chi pioneers who resisted the commercialisation of Tai Chi.
After many years of teaching Tai Chi and Qigong courses and workshops at various centres and schools throughout Australia, Great Grand Master Kellen Chia saw the need to found a non-profit organisation dedicated to introducing the benefits of the healing arts of Tai Chi and Qigong to the wider Australian community. As a result he created The Tai Chi Society, which has been operating as a professional teaching organisation ever since.
Members of The Tai Chi Society include medical specialists, university professors, computer scientists, celebrities and even Australia s most famous rock star. Some of Great Grand Master Kellen Chia s former students now run their own Tai Chi and Qigong classes.

Great Grand Master Kellen Chia has achieved a level of meditation reached by very few practitioners. He invented Twelve Wonders Qigong, now a best-selling DVD, as well as Nine Heavens Qigong, The Immortal Ten Qigong and other healing Qigong exercises. He has been instrumental in bringing about an awareness of Tai Chi and Qigong as healing arts to the wider Australian public, and has featured on many television network, including Channel Nine s What s Good For You and the ABC. He has also featured in editorials in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and in a range of major Australian magazines.
Great Grand Master Kellen Chia has been doing research on Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation, and has produced evidence-based results using Twelve Wonders Qigong and Nine Heavens Qigong exercises that successfully treat medical complications associated with strokes such as severe balance problems, swallowing difficulties and extreme stiffness of the legs. Other evidence-based research of successful treatment of medical conditions such as depression, chronic fatigue, arthritis and high blood pressure has been generated by Great Grand Master Kellen Chia, utilising Twelve Wonders Qigong and Nine Heavens Qigong routines.
